Welcome! I'm So Glad You're Here
I specialize in patients struggling with anxiety, ADHD and relationship difficulties. Issues with motivation, attention, & sleep commonly go hand-in-hand with primary diagnoses. That’s why I became a certified sleep therapist & earned a fully accredited certification in ADHD Management.
Hello, I'm ShAnnon
Do you want to improve your life by learning to thrive emotionally, vocationally, and relationally?
You and I will work together to identify your symptoms, treatment goals, values, and strengths. We’ll incorporate this knowledge into personalized coping skills as you learn to overcome the issues keeping you from achieving stability and emotional well-being. I empower my clients to take the next personalized and informed steps towards effective, lasting change.
As you learn coping skills in a warm, relational setting, we’ll alleviate your symptoms by identifying and challenging your maladaptive thoughts, emotional or behavioral patterns that no longer serve you. After all, when you know how you want to live your life, your choices become intentional and the path forward becomes clear.
What I Do
You're a unique individual. Your therapy should reflect that.
There is no “one size fits all” mode of therapy. Therapy should be an adaptable and empowering process; psychologist and patient working together to shape a personalized process for you. I pull from my expansive training across a span of therapeutic modalities to create a unique, bespoke therapy for each client based on your unique symptoms, communication style, culture, etc. This includes CBT, psychodynamic, relational, attachment, strength-based, & solution-focused therapy.
CBT, Psychodynamic, Relational, Attachment, Strength-based, Solution-focused.
Change Starts Here.

Convenient Service
Telelehealth
I offer teletherapy so you can conveniently attend from the comfort of your home without having to include time for commuting, parking, and waiting with others in a waiting room. Many of my clients lead busy lives, so virtual therapy means therapy gets to be a major resource of stress relief in their life before work, during their lunch break, or as a way to wind down their day.
More Effective
Extensive empirical research conducted over the last few years has repeatedly demonstrated that telehealth is equally as successful as in-person therapy (Bellanti, et al., 2022; Krzyzaniak et al., 2021). It has also proven that teletherapy holds a higher retention rate and that therapeutic gains are maintained over time, whether you are seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, or other such disorders (American Psychological Association, 2020; Abrams, 2020).
More Comfortable
Teletherapy means you can have therapy while in your safe space: nestled into your softest blanket or petting your cat with your cup of tea in hand while we talk. That’s why I don’t recommend teletherapy if you feel that your home is unsafe or if you do not have access to a quiet, private space for 45 minutes each week. I have noticed that my patients tend to open up and feel more comfortable with the therapeutic process to make progress faster in teletherapy than in-person.
More Convenient
Teletherapy removes the need for travel, finding parking, waiting in a waiting room with others, and so on. Without these added inconveniences, you are free to schedule therapy when it works for you; in the middle of your busy schedule, before work, on your lunch break, or as you are winding down for the day, even when you travel (depending on the rules of the place you are visiting). This makes it easier to stay consistent and thereby make faster, more significant therapeutic progress.

Good Faith Estimate
If you are not using insurance to pay for therapy, then you have the right to request a “Good Faith Estimate:” an approximation of how much, based on the symptoms and treatment goals you identify during our consultation, you can expect your non-emergency mental health services to cost. If your symptoms and treatment goals do not increase from what is described in this Good Faith Estimate, you attend therapy as initially agreed upon (e.g.: one weekly 60 minute therapy session), and you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, then you are permitted to dispute the bill. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
